We read in Lonely Planet that during the fall/winter months, the skies over Lima are white. They are right! It seems like just fog or marine layer, and is a blanket of pure white over the city. It does clear up during the day, but then will switch back and forth to white again.
The weather was pretty mild here in Lima during our visit. It’s a bit humid, very pleasant, warm and sunny but not too hot, and just a light jacket needed at night.
It’s also interesting to see the stores sell winter clothes here, while on the other side of the equator, it is almost summer back at home.
